Terms

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Skip Distance at skipdistance.app. By using it you agree to them.

Who we are

Skip Distance is provided by S P Technical Inspection Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09068004, registered office 17 Easby Lane, Great Ayton, TS9 6JU. Contact: hello@skipdistance.app.

What Skip Distance is

Skip Distance is a practice tool that simulates manual ultrasonic testing. It is for learning and practice only.

Your access

A paid plan gives you personal access for the period you paid for. Your access link is for you; do not share it. A training centre plan gives the centre a number of seats, each for one named person at a time, which the centre may reassign.

We may suspend access that is shared, resold or used to copy the product.

Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for payments. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period paid for. See our refund policy.

What you may not do

Ownership

Skip Distance, its name, logo, software and content belong to S P Technical Inspection Ltd. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms and nothing more.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Skip Distance available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. We may change or add features. If we stop offering it, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

Liability

Skip Distance is provided for practice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision made in real inspection work. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell paying customers by email.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
